Product Reviews
I completely disagree with the myriad negative reviews this tire gets. This tire worked well on my outback. I have about 41K miles on them so its time for replacement. Snow, mud, dry pavement, fast corners, etc. The tires performed to my satisfaction. I've driven on un-maintained muddy dirt roads, long gravel roads, steep muddy trails, etc. No problems at all. Never got stuck in the snow or mud. I never sensed/felt hydroplaning on wet roads either. Through the last 10K miles, the noise has only slightly increased and the ride is just a little more sensitive to cracks/bumps in the road. All in all, its a good tire and no where near as bad as the snobby negative reviews would like you to believe.
Not suitable for the north country, PERIOD. Absolutely useless in wet snow, any depth. They only work in very cold conditions, i.e. dry, crisp, recently plowed snow but not to deep. I am an experienced winter driver, over 50 yrs. worth. The side edge sipes are so narrow, they pack up instantly, rendering the tire as driving on banana peals! Shame on Subaru, these tires are dangerous...
Original tires on my 2017 Outback now with 50,000 miles, they have worn well and still have 5k left but are loud and noisy, have been been for last 20k miles. The new car ride is long gone and I'm looking forward to replacing these. Even Subaru dealer says Bridgestone are terrible on Outback.
Original equipment tires on my 2015 Outback. These tires suck. Why do you think I'm looking for replacements with 28k miles on them. I would not recommend them at all.
I had these tires for 2 years and 65000 km but the tires cracks and had to be replaced. The tread is like new, with major cracks.
I've been driving with this tire on my Murano. I find the tires work very well in sun and rain conditions as well as minor light snow.
Not keen on this tire at all. Would only recommend it for driving to and from grocery store in nice weather.
